Adeline Weber Guibal, a renowned sculptor, transports us to a world where the past and nature meet with grace and poetry. Her sculpture "Paradis Perdu" is a masterful work in bronze and wood, embodying both fragility and strength.

"Paradis Perdu" depicts an ancient splendor, where the gold of the bronze mixes with collapsed faces that have become eroded and gray. The walls rise towards the sky, but are in ruins, symbolizing nature reclaiming its rights. A tree grows in the middle of this dilapidated building, and a small character stands at the foot, dreaming of this lost paradise. This scene evokes a sweet poetry, between nostalgia and hope.

Adeline masters the art of combining materials to create striking visual dialogues. The worm-eaten wood, imprisoned in resin, dialogues magnificently with the bronze of the building's walls. This juxtaposition of textures and colors creates a captivating visual harmony, where each element tells a part of the story.

The work exudes a palpable emotion, where the finesse of the work of the material is combined with a narrative depth. The fragility of the wood and the solidity of the bronze symbolize the contrasts of life, dreams and realities, losses and rebirths. Adeline invites us to contemplate and reflect on our own relationship with the past and nature.
